Module 10 Discussion: Scholarly Sources
Assignment 1: Final Research Topic and Initial Literature Review. Module 10 Discussion: Scholarly Sources.
Before you begin writing your final research paper, it is crucial to finalize your research topic and identify at least three scholarly sources that you will use in your literature review. Your topic should be relevant to the course content and should be broad enough to allow for a comprehensive examination but narrow enough to be manageable within the scope of this assignment.
- Select a research topic related to Psychology that aligns with the concepts learned in the Research Methods and Design course.
- Once your topic is decided, use the college library search engine to find scholarly sources. You can use search engines such as PsycArticles. Look for peer-reviewed articles, case studies, or research studies related to your chosen topic.
- From the articles you find, select at least three that you will use in your literature review. These sources should be directly relevant to your topic and should offer valuable insights into your area of study.
- Write a 500-word summary that includes your final topic, a brief description of why you chose it, and a short synopsis of each of your three chosen sources.
Reply to at least two of your classmates on their sources, providing any feedback you think will be beneficial for them.
