The Critical Thinking in the Medical Field strengths that can contribute to my success as a critical thinker are empathy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Empathy is essential within the medical field since it is vital for clinicians to understand patients’ feelings when evaluating the situation. Attention to detail is also important as the healthcare industry is associated with much information, and I will often have to assess every inch critically before making a significant decision. Finally, problem-solving skills are necessary everywhere, but they are especially beneficial in the medical field. The lives and health of other people may depend on the nurse, and the ability to deal with related issues can significantly improve critical thinking. However, I would also like to improve some areas, such as my research and communication skills. Communicating with people and researching various subjects properly can help acquire and evaluate knowledge, which is why these areas are significant to becoming a successful critical thinker.
